Post Date:04/19/2017 12:21 PM

Distracted driving is a major cause of car-related injuries and deaths. It not only endangers those behind the wheel, but also their passengers, other motorists and pedestrians. It is estimated that roughly 25% of motor vehicle accident fatalities are a result of distracted driving. When drivers engage in more than one activity that requires a lot of mental focus, the brain quickly switches between those tasks consecutively. As a result, the brain suffers from inattention blindness.
